Pot-Limit Omaha bracelet winner Dylan Weisman has entered the fray alongside several other PLO specialists as the field has now reached 23 entries. This includes Sam Stein, Ben Lamb, Farid Jattin, and Gavin Cochrane.
Lautaro Guerra defended out of the small blind against Dylan Smith and they checked down the 
flop and 
turn. Guerra bet the river and Smith called but couldn't beat the 
(nines-full) of the Spaniard to drop a few chips early on.
Chance Kornuth three-bet preflop from the cutoff over the hijack raise from Michael Heritsch who called the three-bet.
The flop came 
. Heritsch check-raised Kornuth's 8,000 bet to 22,000, Kornuth called.
The turn was the 
. Heritsch led for 30,000 and Kornuth called after nearly exhausting the 30 second clock.
The river came the to pair the board as hearts missed. Heritsch slowed down and checked. Kornuth bet 42,000 which got Heritsch to fold fairly quickly.
Kornuth tabled

According to the tournament info, there are now at least 21 players registered of which seven won their seat in satellites. However, not all of them have appeared yet to enter the fray but that may soon change.

John Beauprez raised to 1,800 and Joni Jouhkimainen called from one seat over. Duarte Baptista then potted to 7,700 in the blinds and Beauprez repotted to 25,400, which forced out Jouhkimainen and was called by Baptista. Both checked the 
flop and Baptista then bet the turn for 35,000, which Beauprez called.
On the 
river, Baptista bet the pot for 122,600 and Beauprez called but couldn't beat the 
for trip kings by Baptista.

It is time for one of the premier and most anticipated events of the 2022 World Series of Poker, Event #28: $50,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha which gets underway at 1 p.m. local time.
This premier four-card tournament is sure to attract all of the biggest names in the PLO world. Last year’s version of this tournament was one of the most memorable of the entire 2021 WSOP. 85 entries created a prizepool of more than four million and several big name players cashed; including Shaun Deeb, Scott Seiver and Ben Lamb.
It came to a head four-handed where fourth place finisher Alexander Peterson made a memorable talkative appearance on the live stream, where he appeared to be having all sorts of fun while playing for hundreds of thousands against two of the legends of the game, Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth.

The whole poker world tuned in in anticipation of a possible Negreanu versus Hellmuth heads-up battle, but it would be Jeremy Ausmus who somewhat spoiled the party. He took down the two giants to make a bigger name for himself and to claim his third WSOP bracelet.
The $50,000 entry fee garners a starting stack of 300,000. Players are allowed up to two re-entries if they choose, during the registration period which will last through twelve 40-minute levels until about 11:00 p.m. They will play fifteen levels before bagging up for the day; remaining players will then advance to Day 2 of this three-day event.
