La nuit dernière David Peters a remporté son 4e titre WSOP, Scott Seiver peut aussi rêver de rejoindre ce club fermé puisqu'il abordera la finale de l'Event #3 WSOP Freezout à 2500$ en position de force.
A l'issue d'un Jour 2 de près de 12 heures de poker, l'Américain a emballé 62 blindes et le plus gros tapis pour l'ultime journée de compétition. Ils ne sont plus que 10 en lice et Seiver peut ambitionner de capturer les 320 059$ de la première place ainsi que le bracelet qui va avec.
Avec 24 millions de dollars en live, Seiver est favori mais il n'a pas de marge sur David Goodman alors que Steve Zolotow complète le podium provisoire avec ses 77 ans et ses deux bracelets au poignet. Plus loin au chipcount, Sergio Aido et Chris Hunichen ont toujours de quoi manoeuvrer avec 25 blindes.
Triple vainqueur WSOP, Nick Schulman sera aussi dangereux s'il parvient à doubler alors qu'Aditya Agarwal (3e de la All Time Money List India) compte bien prouver qu'on sait jouer dans son pays.

Shaun Deeb (108e-$4,027), David “Bakes” Baker (93e-$4,404), le Team Pro Winamax Adrian Mateos (44e-$7,448), Tom McCormick (30e-$8,625), Ken Aldridge (20e-$10,176) et Dylan Linde (13e-$14,967) ont cru à l'exploit mais un peu moins longtemps que Shawn Daniels, dernier éliminé de la nuit pour 18 645$.
