Pechie Has Three-to-One Advantage Following Turned Straight

Niveau 35 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Samuel Bifarella called with {3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Justin Pechie checked with {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}.

The flop came {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Bifarella took a stab for 500,000. Pechie called with his straight call.

The {6-Spades} gave Pechie the straight and both players checked.

On the {a-Clubs} river, Pechie bet 650,000 and, with the nut low, Bifarella folded.

Pechie has been running pure early on in heads-up play and has won each and every pot so far.

On the button, Maxime Parys moved all in for 3,00,000 and Samuel Bifarella went over the top all in for 9,050,000. Justin Pechie folded {k-Spades}{3-Spades} and then the two Frenchmen were left to battle it out.

Maxime Parys: {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Samuel Bifarella: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and Parys was ahead until the case king hit on the river and sent him to the rail, finishing third in the tournament.

Pechie Opts Against Calling Off with Sixes vs. Bifarella's Suited King-Jack

Niveau 35 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Second-placed Samuel Bifarella moved all in for 9,050,000 and chip leader Justin Pechie went into the tank for nearly four minutes.

Maxime Parys anxiously awaited Pechie's decision, one that could have given him a ladder of over $61,000 if Pechie won.

Eventually, Pechie tossed his cards into the muck.

Parys Stays Alive With a Double Up

Niveau 35 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Maxime Parys

Justin Pechie raised to 1,000,000 on the button and Maxime Parys jammed the rest of his chips in to try for the double up after a monster loss to Pechie just a few hands earlier.

Justin Pechie: {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Maxime Parys: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

The flop ran out {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} giving both top pair but the {q-Diamonds} turn and {8-Diamonds} river did not help Pechie for a second pair or a chop and Parys got his double up.

Pechie Doubles Up to Over 30 Million, Parys on Fumes

Justin Pechie called from the small blind and Maxime Parys checked.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Pechie bet 650,000. Parys raised to 2,000,000 and Pechie called.

With 5,500,000 in the middle, the turn came the {5-Diamonds} and Pechie checked it over to Parys after about 30 seconds. Parys bet 3,000,000 and Pechie shoved for his remaining 12,400,000. Parys puffed out his cheeks upon the all-in and eventually called, leaving just 1,625,000 behind.

Justin Pechie: {8-Spades}{6-Spades}
Maxime Parys: {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}

Pechie had the nut straight against Parys' flopped two pair.

With 30,300,000 in the pot and Parys drawing to just four outs, the all-important river came the {k-Diamonds} to give Pechie a massive chip lead.

Parys, meanwhile, was left with just a little over three blinds.

Kenny Robbins

Kenny Robbins raised all in from the small blind for 1,650,000 and got an instant call from Maxime Parys in the big blind.

Kenny Robbins: {5-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Maxime Parys: {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}

Robbins flopped a gutshot straight draw with the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop. The {3-Hearts} turn was not the card he was hoping for and neither was the {a-Diamonds} that came on the river, which gave Parys top pair and the win and sent him out of the tournament in fourth place.
