Shayesteh Sends Loosli Out

Niveau 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Amirhossein Shayesteh raised under the gun and called a three-bet from Sylvain Loosli in the cutoff.

All the chips went in the middle on the flop {4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Amirhossein tossed a pile of 5,000-chip in front of him and Loosli snap-called for a remaining stack around 40,000.

Sylvain Loosli: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Amirhossein Shayesteh: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Shayesteh already hit a set of jacks, and the {10-Hearts} turn improved his hand into a full house to leave Loosli drowing dead. The French player made his way to the exit after the {q-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.

Josephy On The Brink

Niveau 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Cliff Josephy
Cliff Josephy

Cliff Josephy bet 6,000 from the cutoff and was called by Sean Legendre on the button and Roee Shalom in the big blind.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Josephy continued for 21,000 but was met with a pot-size bet from Legendre. Shalom got out the way and Josephy who was frustrated with the situation moved all of his chips into the middle. Legendre called and was covered by Josephy by 6,000 chips.

Sean Legendre: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{x-}
Cliff Josephy: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

Legendre spiked a set on the flop to crack Josephy's aces. The runout of {2-Spades}{6-Clubs} did not help 'Johnny Bax' and improved Legendre to a full house.

Action was picked up in a pot of roughly 7,500 on a flop of {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Jeff Lisandro checked from the small blind and David Papais bet 6,500 from the big blind which was called.
