Morciano Doubles Through Brunner

Niveau 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Brian Brunner opened to 650,000 in the hijack and Biagio Morciano re-raised to 1,200,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Brunner who shoved all in. Morciano thought for a moment before calling off his stack of 4,525,000.

Biagio Morciano: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Brian Brunner: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

It was a coin flip and the flop of {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} left Morciano in the lead. The {2-Diamonds} and {3-Hearts} runout changed nothing and Morciano clapped his hands together as he scored a double up.

Jan Pettersson opened to 800,000 and Charles Mitchell went all in for 4,475,000. Pettersson asked for a count and before the dealer was finished, he announced that he had to call regardless and put in his stack.

Charles Mitchell: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
