Elamawy Double Moves Him Into Chip Lead Contention

Niveau 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

Cards were already on their backs in a huge pot on a board of {6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}, where Sameh Elamawy scored a full double to 159,000, skyrocketing him among the chip leaders. His {a-}{7-} had trumped his opponents {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} on the turn, and he held through the river.

The Egyptian excitedly announced to the PokerNews reporter ''Where were you guys earlier? I've been asking for you for fifteen minutes, I'm chip leader!''

Trip Fives Take Down Pot at Showdown for Alexander

Niveau 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

Three players made it to the turn with a board reading {j-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. The under-the-gun player bet 3,000 into a pot of about 10,000. Mayr Alexander called from the cutoff, while the small blind folded, meaning heads-up action to the river.

That river was the {6-Clubs}. A bet of 6,000 came from under the gun, which Alexander snap called, tabling his {3-Spades}{5-Spades} to beat out his opponent's {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} with the set, taking down a pot of nearly 30,000.

River Brings In The Full Double For Cyrkiel

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

On a flop of {8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts} with 5,000 chips already in the middle, Michael ''Mike'' Cyrkiel checked from the hijack to the button, who led for a pot-sized bet. Cyrkiel made the call and they were off to a turn.

With 15,000 chips in the middle, the {j-Spades} fell on the turn and Cyrkiel instantly jammed the rest of his 13,000 stack. His opponent quickly flicked in a single chip to call.

With cards on their backs, the Californian needed help with his {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} (top pair) running into his opponents flopped set {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}. The river was gin for Mike though, who hit the {7-Clubs} bringing in the straight and giving him a full double to 41,000.

Newman Scores a Knockout

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

The board read {k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} with just over 14,200 in the middle.

Ted Newman raised a bet of 4,000 from his opponent on the other side of the table to 8,000. His opponent tanked for a while and then shoved for what looked like 29,000. Newman snap-called with the bigger stack.

Opponent: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Ted Newman: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Newman had his opponent drawing dead with his flopped trip kings.

The river completed the board with the {2-Hearts} and sealed the deal, the pot, and the elimination for Newman.
