Cards WSOP 2022

Welcome to Day 1c of Event #5: $500 The Housewarming No-Limit Hold'em at the 2022 World Series of Poker in its new home at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas.

This is the penultimate starting flight of the tournament with cards in the air at 10 a.m. local time.

The two previous starting flights have exceeded expectations with 7,307 players entering the fray. Just 311 of those entries have have bagged and tagged a stack for Day 2, which gets underway on Monday, June 6.

Another bumper field is expected, with Day 1c looking to be the most attended starting flight yet. It is very likely that the $5 million guarantee will be eclipsed by the time late registration closes.

Players start with 50,000 in chips, with blinds at 100/200/200a. Day 1 levels are 30 minutes each, with a 20-minute break taking place at every fourth level. A 90-minute dinner break is scheduled to begin after Level 14 (which should be around 6 p.m.).

Late registration remains open for 10 levels (around 4 p.m.) and play will conclude after 22 levels or until 15% of the field is remaining, whichever is later. Players may re-enter once per flight.

As always, keep it locked in with PokerNews, so you don't miss a hand of the 2022 WSOP at Bally's and Paris, Las Vegas.
