Holtz Wrangles an Opponent With Cowboys

Niveau 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Michael Holtz
Michael Holtz

Michael Holtz snapped off an all in bet preflop of about 200,000 and found himself in a great spot.

At-risk Player: {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Michael Holtz: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

His opponent had gotten frisky with the suited-connector and Holtz was way out in front with pocket kings.

The {5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} runout was clean and Holtz is now sitting on piles.

Holtz raised it up the next hand and gave a little advice to the table while he stacked his newly found chips.

"You know there's a saying," said Holtz. "You never call a man who's counting chips."

Holtz ended up folding the flop, but he is definitely one of the chip leaders in the room.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Yoo check-called the cutoff's 15,000 bet.

The {2-Clubs} was the river and Yoo checked for a third time. His opponent released the trigger by betting 40,000. Yoo pondered before throwing in a chip to make the call. His opponent showed {a-Spades}{8-Spades} for a missed flush draw while Yoo turned over {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to take down the pot.
