Three-Time Bracelet Winner David Bach Leads The Pack For Day 3

Day 2 of Event #52: $2,500 Nine Game Mix 6-Handed at the 2022 World Series of Poker saw David Bach take the chip lead at the end of the action with 1,591,000.

Bach is a three-time WSOP bracelet winner, which includes victory in the 2017 Event #30: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship and 2009 Event #49: $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. World Championship.

Of the 191 players who restarted this tournament at 2pm this afternoon, only 24 players will have a chance to fight for the $219,797 first-place prize and a WSOP Gold bracelet on Day 3.

Nick Guagenti (1,584,000) and Mike Gorodinsky (1,546,000) complete the podium, but a bunch of big names are still in, including Daniel Negreanu, Scott Seiver and Andre Akkari and Phil Hellmuth .

Today, Alexander Condon was eliminated in 80th place and became the bubble boy of this event.

After this elimination, all the players secured a minimum of $4,018. Felipe Ramos (68th), Chance Kornuth (60th), Noah Bronstein (54th), Shannon Shorr (48th) and Max Pescatori (43th) were a few of the names who exited with a small share of the prizepool.

But on Sunday, 26 June, the fight looks fierce, with many big names wanting to take their seat at this final table and keep writing their own legacy.

The tournament will restart at 2 pm. with only one goal: finding a WSOP champion at the end.

The {k-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop allowed Condon to continue for 4,300 and was called by Guagenti, Zolotow folded.

The {5-Hearts} turn encouraged Guagenti to lead out for 11,600 which gained a call from Condon. The {a-Spades} came on the river and Guagenti put out a hefty bet of 40,000. Condon mulled over his decision before eventually folding.
