"Well I had bad aces," said Rheem showing {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, "But a lot of clubs"

"I had two clubs," said Shack-Harris. "I haven't folded a flush in PLO in a long time..."

Niveau 2 : 500/1,500, 1,500 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Pot-Limit Omaha

According to Shaun Deeb, he opened under the gun and got calls from Jens Lakemeier on the button and Scott Seiver in the small blind. The {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop saw Lakemeier bet 9,000 and Seiver folded. Deeb raised to pot to 45,000 and Lakemeier repotted to over 200,000 and the pair got their stacks in.

Jens Lakemeier: {9-Hearts}{9-}{k-}{q-Hearts}
Shaun Deeb: {7-Hearts}{7-}{j-}{8-Hearts}

Lakemeier had flopped top set and crucially held a better flush draw than Deeb who had flopped the nut straight. The turn {j-Diamonds} and river {8-Diamonds} bricked and Lakemeier was eliminated.
