Johnson Out, Burkholder Short

Four players were in the hand on a flop of {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} with Marco Johnson all in for the main pot. The action checked to Ben Yu who tossed in a bet and he was called by Troy Burkholder and Ray Dehkharghani in the blinds.

The turn brought the {a-Diamonds} and Burkholder led out with a bet. Dehkharghani folded and Yu just called. The {4-Spades} paired the board on the river and Burkholder flicked in another bet. Yu raised this time and Burkholder was all in for 22,000.

Burkholder showed {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for a wheel but Yu had {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} for the same low and a full house. Johnson's cards quickly went into the muck and Yu got three-quarters of both pots.

Bryn Kenney bet on fifth street to get called by Rob Hollink and bet again on sixth three for Hollink to raise and the chip leader to call. Kenney bet seventh and Hollink called with a short stack behind. "Ace high flush and an eight-seven," Kenney announced and tabled the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

That was good enough to win the entire pot as a flustered Hollink simply shook his head and sent the cards into the muck. Hollink was left with around 50,000 and lost those right after.

McGinty check-called a bet on seventh street and Sternheimer tabled {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{q-Hearts} for trip nines, taking down the pot.

On the tail end of a heads-up pot between Scott Bohlman and Joshua Ladines, the completed board showed {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Bohlman bet and Ladines flicked in a chip for the call to get shown the {j-Clubs}{9-Spades} for the effective nuts by Bohlman.

Despite losing this hand, Ladines remains the biggest stack on the table.

In a four-bet pot on Table 134, Jean-Robert Bellande was the only player on the sidelines heading to the flop of {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}. The action checked all the way around and the {3-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Ap Garza led out with a bet from the big blind and was called by Nicholas Julia and Michael Moncek. The {9-Clubs} completed the board and Garza fired out another bet. Julia folded and Moncek raised. Garza countered with a three-bet and Moncek just called.

Garza turned over {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a ten-high straight but Moncek held {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} for a jack-high straight to win the pot.

Yuval Bronshtein raised to 9,000 in the cutoff and Luke Schwartz called on the button. Lyle Berman then announced raise out of the small blind without declaring an amount and first pushed nine yellow T-1,000 chips forward before he attempted to raise it to 30,000 in total.

The floor was called and since the ruling had been changed a few years ago, it was ruled as a forced min-raise to 14,000. That brought David Williams in the big blind along and the calls by Bronshtein and Schwartz followed with Bronshtein joking that this might develop into a huge pot.

On a flop of {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Berman bet 60,000 and Williams raised to 240,000 near instantly. "Oh wow, it might really happen," Bronshtein said and gave it some consideration before he then moved all-in. That got rid of Schwartz and Berman before Williams asked for a count.

"It's around 450k," Bronshtein said almost immediately and Williams then asked for an exact count, which happened to be 436,000. The call of Williams followed and the cards were turned over.

"I am winning, no deuce please," Bronshtein said with a big smile on the face.

The turn was a blank {k-Spades} but the brutal {2-Clubs} fell on the river, as Bronshtein's smile froze. Both stacks were quickly checked and Williams had indeed slightly more chips at his disposal to win the large pot with a mighty pair of deuces.

Scott Bohlman opened and got calls from Joshua Ladines and Stephen Chidwick.

The flop {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} was checked and the turn was the {3-Diamonds}. Ladines bet 24,000 and Chidwick then raised to 85,000. Bohlman folded and Ladines called.

The pair checked the {9-Spades} river and Ladines announced two pair, showing {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and won the pot.
