Ramos Out, Leonard Short

Patrick Leonard limped in on the button and Marius Gierse made it 7,000 to go from the big blind. Leonard called and the flop came {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}. Gierse continued for 7,000 and Leonard called to see the {j-Clubs} on the turn.

Gierse fired out another bet of 14,000 and Leonard still called. The river was the {3-Spades} and Gierse shoved all in. Leonard went into the tank for a couple of minutes, discussing out loud all of Gierse's possible holdings. Eventually, Leonard laid his hand down and Gierse showed the {8-Clubs}.

At the same table, Chance Kornuth and Felipe Ramos saw a flop of {q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}. All of the chips got in the middle with Ramos being the player at risk.

Felipe Ramos: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Chance Kornuth: {5-Spades}{3-Spades}

The {7-Hearts} on the turn was safe for Ramos who was looking to dodge plenty of cards. However, the {a-Clubs} on the river gave Kornuth a straight and Ramos was eliminated.
