Kris Burchfield Eliminated in 18th Place ($41,985)

Niveau 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Kris Burchfield
Kris Burchfield

Action was folded to Firas Kashat in the small blind. He limped, and a short-stacked Kris Burchfield checked his big blind.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Spades}, and after Kashat bet 80,000, Burchfield moved all in for his last 220,000. Kashat called and Burchfield was at risk.

Kris Burchfield: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Firas Kashat: {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

Burchfield's pair of kings was ahead, but the {10-Clubs} on the turn gave Kashat a second pair and the {9-Hearts} on the river couldn't save Burchfield who collected 18th place money.

Nehorayan Gets Shorter

Niveau 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Joachim Haraldstad forced a fold from Robert Nehorayan when they went all the way to the river and there was no showdown. Soon after that, Nehorayan raised on the button to find a customer in Hank Yang out of the big blind. On the {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts} turn, Yang bet 300,000 and Nehorayan folded.

One table over, Allan Le defended the big blind when Firas Kashat raised to 175,000 from under the gun. Le checked the {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop and Kashat bet 150,000 in order to win the pot without any further resistance.

With just one elimination to the two-table redraw, the action has now become less frantic on all three tables.

David Coleman Eliminated in 17th Place ($41,985)

Niveau 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
David Coleman
David Coleman

Michael Duek raised to 150,000 on the button and was called by David Coleman in the big blind.

On the {j-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop, Coleman check-called a bet of 150,000 from Duek.

The turn paired the board with the {j-Clubs} and after Coleman checked again, Duek bet another 250,000.

Coleman took his time, but eventually called to see the {k-Hearts} fall on the river.

Coleman checked once more and Duek put a stack of blue T-100,000 chips forward to put Coleman all in for just over 1,100,000.

Coleman then went deep into the tank for over five minutes before finally coming to a call.

Duek showed {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a full house of jacks over threes, ending Coleman's comeback bid in 17th place and sending the final 16 players to the two-table redraw.

More for Chip Leader Duek

Niveau 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Michael Duek
Michael Duek

On the next pay jump, the action has become more careful again and chip leader Michael Duek added more chips to his growing tower.

He first raised to 150,000 and was called by Sean Troha in the big blind, as they checked a {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop. On the {9-Diamonds} turn, Troha checked again and Duek bet 200,000 to win the pot.

Thair Kallabat then won the blinds and ante with a raise to 160,000 before his next raise in the cutoff for the same amount was called by Duek in the big blind. The {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop was checked and Duek's check-raise from 100,000 to 400,000 on the {j-Clubs} turn took it down.

Robert Nehorayan Eliminated in 16th Place ($41,985)

Robert Nehorayan
Robert Nehorayan

Shiva Dudani opened the action with a raise to 150,000 from under the gun. To his immediate left, Robert Nehorayan potted it, committing his 560,000 chips.

After everyone folded back to Dudani, he called to put Nehorayan at risk.

Robert Nehorayan: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Shiva Dudani: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

It was another aces versus kings battle, and while Nehorayan did have hearts working for him, after the {4-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Spades} flop, they wouldn't factor in.

The {7-Hearts} turn and {6-Hearts} river finished Nehorayan off, bringing the field down to 15.

Hank You Very Much for the Chop

Hank Yang

Allan Le raised to 150,000 in the cutoff and Hank Yang gave it some thought in the big blind before calling. The {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop was checked to Le and he bet 100,000 to win the pot.

Tom Hu raised it up to 175,000 and Yang then three-bet the pot in the small blind. The four-bet by Hu followed and Yang instantly called all-in for around 1.2 million as the cards were rolled over.

Hank Yang: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Tom Hu: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and they chopped it up with their aces.

Urbanovich Brings the Backraise

Niveau 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

After Dzmitry Urbanovich limped under the gun, Elior Sion raised to 300,000 in middle position.

Action folded back to Urbanovich, who then re-raised to 900,000, leaving himself just over 400,000 behind.

Sion debated his decision for a bit, then chose to fold and cede the pot to Urbanovich's backraise.

Lewis Left Short by Haraldstad

Niveau 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Joachim Haraldstad called a bet by Toby Lewis for 200,000 on the {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} turn when the latter got active out of the small blind. The {10-Diamonds} fell on the river and Lewis now bet the minimum just before the blinds went up.

Haraldstad raised it up to 450,000 and Lewis eventually called for Haraldstad to table {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts} for the nuts.

Soon after that, the Norwegian raised to 200,000 and Tom Hu came along in the big blind. The duo checked the {5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop and Hu bet the {5-Hearts} turn for 325,000, which Haraldstad called. On the {6-Diamonds} river, Hu bet another 570,000 and that took down the pot without any further resistance.
