Haraldstad Doubles Through Hu

The next big pot took place over on table 141 and it was a clash between Tom Hu and Joachim Haraldstad as they got their chips in after the flop to create the following showdown.

Haraldstad was ahead with the two pair and nut flush draw but had plenty of outs to dodge. The Norwegian did so thanks to the turn and river to put a major dent into Hu's big stack.

Two Eliminations in Very Quick Succession

Travis Doran was eliminated by Michael Russell while big pots played on all other tables at the very same time.

Robert Nehorayan tangled with Thair Kallabat as they created a massive pot of more than 1.5 million to the river. Kallabat jammed for what appeared to be around one million and Nehorayan reluctantly folded.

One table over, Michael Duek had raised to 85,000 from under the gun and was called by Tommi Lankinen and Allan Le in the blinds. The flop brought and Lankinen was the only one to check-call a bet worth 125,000 by Duek to see the on the turn. He checked again and Duek bet the pot to force a fold.

The very next hand on the same table brought the shorter stack of Nicholas Baris into the middle and he was looked up by Duek.

Rawtani Picks Off Lankinen

After Tommi Lankinen in the big blind and Michael Duek in middle position checked a flop with approximately 300,000 in the pot, Nitesh Rawtani bet 100,000. Only Lankinen called.

The turn brought the and the action was checked through. On the river, Lankinen put out a bet of 340,000, and after some deliberation, Rawtani called.

Lankinen showed for a pair of sevens and a missed straight draw.

Rawtani tabled for a bluff-catching top pair. Rawtani said as he was gathering the chips that he had hoped it was eight-nine in his opponent's hand. His gutsy call paid off as he raked a healthy pot.

Lewis Doubles Through Zerkal

Toby Lewis raised the pot and was called by Patrick Leonard out of the blinds, who then check-folded to the pot-sized bet of Lewis on the flop.

"It is hard not to make a gutshot," Leonard sighed and then added shortly after "I folded king-eight-seven-six" ... for a gutshot, which other players at the table immediately remarked.

At nearly the same time, Brandon Adams raised and called a three-bet to 270,000 by Xunen Zheng in the cutoff. They checked the flop and Adams bet the turn for 175,000, Zheng quickly folded with the words "nice hand".

Coleman's Spin Continues

After spinning up a single T-5,000 chip yesterday to make it into today's field, the incredible comeback of David Coleman is continuing.

He recently got his last 400,000 or so chips in on the flop against Xunen Zheng, and again has lived to tell about it.
