Kovalski Continues to Roll

Niveau 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Fabiano Kovalski
Fabiano Kovalski

There was already 290,000 in a blind-against-blind pot between Fabiano Kovalski and Daniel Pereira on the {8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} board.

Kovalski, who finished in second place in this year's $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty for a career-high $363,116 cash, bet 80,000. Pereira called, leaving just 340,000 chips behind.

The river brought the {q-Spades} and both players were content to tap the table. Kovalski announced "King!" and showed {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, which was more than enough to take down the pot.

With the win, Kovalski continues to climb, taking his stack from 630,000 at the start of the day to a hair under 1,500,000.

Gollins Using Her Stack

Niveau 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

WSOP ladies event 3rd place finisher Christina Gollins was one of a select few players to start the day with at least two million chips and she's using that stack effectively so far today.

After Donald Bliss raised to 60,000 on the button, Christina Gollins three-bet to 200,000 in the small blind. Bliss took a moment, then folded to send the pot to Gollins, who will definitely be someone to watch on Day 3.

Moreno Cruising

Niveau 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

After the player on the button raised to 55,000, Andrew Moreno three-bet from the small blind to 180,000. The button called and the duo saw a flop of {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{a-Clubs}.

Moreno bet 80,000 and got a call from the button who had approximately 600,000 behind.

The players checked through the {4-Diamonds} turn, but on the {3-Clubs} river, Moreno sprinkled six lavender T-100,000 chiups forward to put his opponent all in.

This prompted a fold, and the pot was pushed to the chip leader, who is now approaching five million chips.

Betito Hits Runner-Runner Flush to Win 1.8 Million Chip Pot

Niveau 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Liran Betito
Liran Betito

On the last hand before break, Jorge Walker opened to 60,000 under the gun and Liran Betito three-bet to 155,000 from the seat to his left. Michael Thach cold-called from the cutoff and Walker called behind.

The flop came {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and everybody checked.

The turn brought the {2-Spades} and Walker fired for 200,000. Betito called and Thach raised to 550,000. Walker folded and Betito called.

On the {4-Spades} river, both players quickly tapped the table. Betito showed {j-Spades}{7-Spades} for the runner-runner flush and it was good enough to take down a pot worth nearly 1,800,000 chips.
