Verle Continues to Stick Around, Gets Full Double with Kings

Niveau 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The player in middle position opened to 90,000 and the Leonardo Sausen Verle, from the big blind, shoved for 405,000 total.

The middle-position player said he had too good of a price and made the call.

Leonardo Sausen Verle: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Middle Position: {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The flop came {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}, giving the middle-position player no help. The turn brought the {3-Diamonds}, which gave Verle the full double up.

The {a-Hearts} completed the board, allowing Verle to stick around despite coming into the day with just 300,000 in chips.

Hinkle Leads River, Wins Nearly Three Million-Chip Pot vs. Fung

Niveau 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Blair Hinkle
Blair Hinkle

Altynai Fung opened for 80,000 from the cutoff and Blair Hinkle raised to 250,000 from the small blind. Fung called.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Hinkle checked to Fung, who bet 175,000. Hinkle called.

The {9-Hearts} arrived on the turn and Fung kept betting, this time for 375,000. Hinkle called once more.

On the {6-Spades} river, Hinkle lead out for 600,000 which put Fung deep into the tank. After putting her hands on her head and deliberated for about two minutes, she begrudgingly put her 20-stack of greens topped off with one blue chip in front for the call.

Hinkle flipped over {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the rivered two pair to take down a massive pot worth almost three million.

Moreno Forced to Fold River

Niveau 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Andrew Moreno
Andrew Moreno

Picking action up on the {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Clubs} turn, Dan Klein checked in early position to Andrew Moreno who bet 320,000 into a roughly 500,000 chip pot.

Klein called to see the fourth heart in the {4-Hearts} fall on the river.

Klein then led out all-in for 1,200,000, sending Moreno into a slightly frustrated tank. He flipped his cards and shook his head as he pondered his decision briefly before ultimately folding to send Klein the pot.

Manosalva Doubles Up, Leaves Goldman with Crumbs

Niveau 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Marc Goldman opened from the hijack for 125,000 and Edgar F Manosalva jammed for his remaining 650,000 from the cutoff.

It folded around back to Goldman, who started the hand with 705,000. After about 90 seconds and jokingly asking someone on the rail "Yes or no?", he eventually made the call.

Edgar F Manosalva: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Marc Goldman: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

It was some of the worst news for Goldman as Manosalva had him completely dominated. However, the {10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop was fantastic for him as he flopped the open-ended straight draw and a backdoor flush draw.

He would be denied his flush draw as the {3-Hearts} hit the turn.

The river brought the {5-Hearts} to take Manosalva to just under 1,500,000 chips while Goldman was left with just 1.1 big blinds (55,000).
