Jaafar Doubles Up Through Duarte

Niveau 35 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Mohammed Jaafar
Mohammed Jaafar

Mathias Duarte opened to 1,000,000 from the button and Tony Gordy called from the small blind. Mohammed Jaafar shoved all in for 4,525,000 from the big blind and Duarte called. Gordy let his cards go.

Mohammed Jaafar: {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Mathias Duarte: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Jaafar was completely dominated by Duarte but the flop came {q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} to put Jaafar way out in front.

The {10-Hearts} turn spiced things up as it gave Duarte a heart draw.

However, the {5-Diamonds} was a brick for Duarte as Jaafar went back over 10 million.

Basel Chaura: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Eldor Levysahar: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The board ran {3-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades} to give Chaura a full double up, but not before a sweat as the dealer incorrectly announced payout, giving Chaura a fright before the table laughed it off.

Gollins Doubles Through Duarte

Niveau 35 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Under the gun Mathias Duarte, early position Tony Gordy and small blind Christina Gollins all limped. Leonardo De Souza in the big blind checked their option.

The flop of {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades} prompted Gollins to move all in for 3,650,000. Duarte made the call while the other two players folded.

Christina Gollins: {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Mathias Duarte: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Gollins had top pair and a flush draw, while Duarte had an up and down straight draw and two overs. It was all over on the turn as the {5-Hearts} rolled off the deck to give Gollins a flush. The {9-Hearts} completed the board and Gollins got a double up.

A {j-Clubs} arrived on the river, eliminating the Brazilian in 16th place.

Christopher Dow
Christopher Dow

Whilst Ryan Phan was gathering their belongings, action was occurring at the neighboring table where there was 2,000,000 in the middle and an all in and a call on the flop of {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Christopher Dow was at risk for 1,400,000 against Eldor Levysahar.

Christopher Dow: {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Eldor Levysahar: {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

Levysahar flopped the nuts against Dow's top two pair. The runout of {k-Clubs}{2-Spades} didn't help Dow who busted out before the two-table redraw.

Ryan Phan: {6-Spades}{2-Spades}
Mike Allis: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Phan was in need of a miracle and wouldn't find it on the {k-Clubs} turn. The {4-Diamonds} completed the board.
