Belin Takes a Pot

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With a board of {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} showing and around 4,000 in the middle, Bailey Belin threw out a bet of 2,000. His opponent in the cutoff raised to 8,000 which Belin called.

The {k-Diamonds} on the turn had both checking.

A {3-Clubs} showed up on the river and Belin bet 11,000 and took down the pot without showing as his opponent tossed his cards into the muck.

Poker Stallions in the Game

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The Mattress Mack Poker Stallions is a Texas based group who has been seen around the WSOP playing in multiple events. Stephen Baze is one of the members and early into Level 3 he raised to 800 from the hijack and received two calls.

The board came down {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades} and the big blind checked to Baze who bet 1,100. The cutoff folded and the big blind decided to stick around to see the turn.

A {5-Clubs} hit and the big blind check-called Baze's 2,000 bet.

The {a-Diamonds} on the river slowed Baze down and had both players checking. Baze flipped over {q-Spades}{10-Spades} to show a flopped two pair that got counterfeited by the ace on the river but his hand still held to take down the pot as his opponent folded.

With 4,000 in the middle and {j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} fanned on the felt, James Dempsey was facing a 1,500 bet from the player in the small blind. Dempsey called to see the turn.

An {a-Spades} showed up and had the small blind firing out 2,000 which Dempsey called without hesitation.

The river was a {5-Spades} and the small blind opened once more with a bet of 2,000. Dempsey raised to 11,000 which the small blind called and flipped over {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for two pair, fours and jacks. Dempsey showed {q-Spades}{8-Spades} for a runner-runner flush which was more than good to take down the pot.

Alvarado Gets One

Niveau 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Rick Alvarado raised on the button to 700 and received a call from the small blind and the cutoff. The flop came down {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and it was checked to Alvarado who bet 1,600. The small blind called and the cutoff folded.

The {q-Hearts} hit the turn and both players checked.

A {j-Diamonds} showed up on the river and the small blind bet 1,100 which Alvarado called and cards were up for showdown. The small blind had {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for two pair, queens and tens and Alvarado showed {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, missing a straight draw but hitting a higher two pair on the river, queens and jacks, which was good to take down the pot.
