Aguirre Hits A One Outer

Niveau 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Pokenews did not get the action, but heard a big noise in the room. It was Julian Aguirre who was celebrating.

Aguirre went all in before the flop against his opponent, Charles Doumitt.

Charles Doumitt: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Julian Aguirre: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Aguirre was down to one out. Turn was the {k-Hearts}, that single card Aguirre was looking for, and after the {9-Diamonds} river, Charles Doumitt was officially eliminated.

Marcavish Makes His Opponent Crazy

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

William Marcavish was seen with a bunch of chips already. He explained that he called three times with ace high against an opponent, and was good.

"On the very next hand, we went all in before the flop, he had almost 25,000 and a pair of sixes."

Bad timing for this player. Marcavish had a pair of aces and took that pot.

"He receveid a gift," said Bechahed, on this table and with already two starting stacks.

Ace High Is Good For Zhang

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Action was caught at the very end, when Junxiu Zhang was eliminating a player.

The board was {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and with only {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, Zhang was able to win that pot.

"My opponent only had {q-}{j-}, we went all in on the flop".

Gonzalez Extracts The Maximum from His Aces

Niveau 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

After an open to 800 in early position, Danny Gonzalez made it 2,200. Just after him, Mehdi Daruwala called, as did the player in early position.

On the {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop, Gonzalez bet 3,000 and Daruwala was the only player to call. Turn was a {k-Diamonds} but both players checked it, to the {2-Clubs} on the river. This time, Gonzalez bet 7,000 and after a quick reflection, Daruwala finally gave it up his hand.

Gonzalez has now 100,000, but it's also thanks to a previous winning hand, as he explained: "With aces, I went all in on {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, without the ace of spades. My opponent had pocket nines, without the flush draw neither. And I held to the river!"

Posey Eliminated By Quads

Niveau 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

After a raise to 500, Mac Posey made it 1,600 from late position. From the small blind, John Schwartze four-bet to 6,000. Original raiser folded but not Posey, who called.

On a {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop, Schwartze bet 6,000 and Posey raised to 15,000. Schwartze called, then announced all in on the {q-Clubs} turn. Posey called.

Mac Posey: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
John Schwartze: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Schwartze found a queen on the turn to make a set before he eventually made quads on the {q-Spades} river. Mac Posey was eliminated.
