Jablonski Calls Down with an Eight

Niveau 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Stan Jablonski limped on the button and the small blind called as well before Camille Brown checked her option.

The {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop was checked through to the {j-Diamonds} turn.

The small blind led out for 3,000, forcing Brown to fold quickly and Jablonski made the call.

The {4-Clubs} completed the board and the small blind led out for 8,000. Jablonski thought about it for a brief moment before shrugging as he made the call.

The small blind tabled {k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for a busted flush draw and Jablonski showed {q-Spades}{8-Spades} to take the pot.

With 26,500 in the middle, the flop read {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Heath Gerig checked to Erik Cajelais who fired out a bet of 8,000. Gerig pondered for about a minute before making the call.

The {5-Spades} landed on the turn and Gerig checked to Cajelais as he tossed out three red chips and announced a bet of 13,000. Heath gave it some time before pushing his entre stack of about 37,000 across the line. Cajelais only took a couple of seconds before surrendering the pot.

Kyle Ivanich

The new GGPoker Ambassador from Canada, Kyle Ivanich, just busted in terrible conditions.

Vincent Arevalo, who eliminated him, explained that Ivanich made two pair on a {q-}{2-}{8-} flop with {q-}{2-}. But on a {a-} turn, Arevalo made two better pairs with {a-}{8-}.

The river did not change anything, and Ivanich was eliminated.

West Is Cruising, Foxen Is Eliminated

Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

In the middle of that blue section, a player already has more than ten starting stacks, about 420,000 chips. Tyendel West was sat down between two great players, Alex Foxen and Laurent Polito, but he decided to send one of them home.

West said to Pokernews that after a limp from Foxen, first to act, he raised to 4,500 and Foxen called. Then both players checked a {10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, before West led for 7,500 on the {j-} turn. Foxen called then check-raised on a {k-} river, from 14,000 to around 40,000.

After a while, West finally called with {k-}{j-} for two-pair and Foxen showed {a-}{10-}. He was eliminated, while West is totally cruising now.

Doering Shows the Quads

Niveau 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Cory Waaland rasied to 3,000 from the cutoff before Keith Doering defended his big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Doering check-called a bet of 2,000.

The {2-Spades} turn was checked through to see the {2-Clubs} river. Doering led out for 6,000 and Waaland tossed his cards into the muck. Doering tabled {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} for quads on the flop before dragging the pot.
