Turvin Puts Stewart in the Tank

Niveau 36 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Rodney Turvin
Rodney Turvin

Rodney Turvin raised 1,800,000 in the hijack and Binchiat Tay called in the cutoff before Jed Stewart came along in the small blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and all three players checked to the {j-Diamonds} turn. Stewart led out for 2,000,000 and only Turvin made the call.

The {3-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Stewart checked before Turvin announced all in as he dropped a pile of 1,000,000 chips across the line.

Stewart went deep into the tank for about two and a half minutes before surrendering his cards and saying, "Show the bluff."

"No bluff to show," responded Turvin.

Gregory [Removed:372] bet 1,700,000 from the hijack and Jacques Kochan in the big blind made the call.

The flop of {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} persuaded Kochan to move all in for 5,800,000. [Removed:372] elected on making the call.

Jacques Kochan: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Gregory [Removed:372]: {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Kochan was ahead with a pair of nines. The {3-Diamonds} turn gave [Removed:372] additional outs but the {5-Clubs} on the river was no help and the Canadian doubles up.
