Right Call for Wiegmann

Niveau 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} fanned across the felt and 200,000 in the middle, Cody Wiegmann checked to Tzu Yen in the cutoff. Yen bet 180,000 sending Wiegmann in to the tank for a few minutes before he finally shoved some chips in to call.

Yen showed {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a missed open-ended straight draw, leaving him with queen-high and Wiegmann showed {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks which was good to take down the pot.

D'Ambrosio Doubles Up Allen

Niveau 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Preflop action had Kevin Allen under the gun shoving for 68,000 and Jimmy D'Ambrosio in middle position shoving over top for almost 300,000. The rest of the table folded and the two contenders flipped over their hands.

Kevin Allen: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Jimmy D'Ambrosio: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The flop came down {q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and with the queen in the window, Allen was looking good for a double up. The {6-Hearts} on the turn was no help for D'Ambrosio and the {10-Spades} on the river gave him a set but it still wasn't enough to beat Allen's set of queens.

Reard Doubles Throough Panka

Niveau 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Alexandre Reard
Alexandre Reard

Alexandre Reard and Dominik Panka had their stacks in the middle with the former on the verge of leaving the tournament.

Alexandre Reard: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Dominik Panka: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

The {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop gave Panka a flush draw but he failed to find his outs on the {9-Hearts} turn and {6-Diamonds} river which meant the pot would head towards Reard.
