The flop read {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. From the button, Oliver Biles bet 110,000 into a pot of about 600,000. Sean Ragozzini was in the big blind and raised it up to 275,000.

Biles took about ten seconds before he released his cards into the muck.

Aguirre Stays Alive on River

Niveau 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Jose Aguirre was all in holding the {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} on a flop of {5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and was well behind the {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} flopped set of his opponent.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and the river came the {8-Diamonds} to bring in the straight for Aguirre and keep his tournament chances alive.

Straight Over Top Set For Martin

Niveau 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Philip Martin
Philip Martin

Action was picked up on the turn as the board read {9-Spades}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Action went check-check.

The river was the {8-Spades}. From under the gun, Jonathan Dokler moved all in and Phillip Martin snap-called from middle position by tossing one chip in the pot.

Dokler had the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} for top set of aces but that was beaten out by the {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} straight of Martin to send the sizeable pot over to him and take much of Dokler's stack away.

Biles Knocks Deeb Short

Niveau 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Oliver Biles
Oliver Biles

Action was caught at the very end of the hand as the board showed {5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. Oliver Biles made a river bet which Shaun Deeb called after thinking for a while.

Biles tabled the {k-}{8-}. Deeb shook his head and mucked his cards in frustration as his stack was knocked down to short one following the call.

Break Time

Niveau 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

The players are now on their first 15-minute break of the day. The clock shows 108 players remaining, meaning that well over half of the field dropped in two hours of play.

Ho Holds Off Pham

Niveau 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Duy Ho
Duy Ho

The flop read {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{q-Hearts}. From middle position, David Pham bet 180,000. Duy Ho raised all in from the cutoff and the player under the gun tanked for a while before folding his hand. Pham called.

Ho had the lead with the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for top two but would have to hold off the {a-Spades}{2-Spades} flush draw of Pham. The turn was the {j-Hearts} to also give Pham the broadway draw. But the river was a complete brick, the {3-Diamonds} and Pham's stack was decimated while Ho shot higher up the counts.

Dokler Forces a Fold

Niveau 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

With a pot of around 810,000 in the middle and the board showing, {10-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} Jonathan Dokler put forward a bet of 510,000 from the small blind. His opponent was in the big blind and considered things for quite some time before he laid it down and Dokler gathered in the nice pot.
