Gandikota Has Diaz Tanking and Laughing

Niveau 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

The player in the cutoff raised to 3,500 as Suhaag Gandikota and Guillaume Diaz came along from the blinds. Diaz bet out 5,500 on the {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop and only Gandikota called.

The turn was the {10-Spades} and Diaz bet another 8,000. Gandikota came back with a raise to 20,000, and the French pro called. On the {j-Spades} river, Gandikota fired out 28,000.

Diaz burst out laughing as he and Gandikota discussed the hand. "There's four queens," Gandikota said.

"There's four jacks as well, but one of them is in the middle and I have one," Diaz replied.

Diaz went into the tank for nearly five minutes before the clock was called. As the countdown reached zero, he reluctantly stuck in the chips to call.

Gandikota showed {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the straight and Diaz mucked, dropping down to less than 10,000 while Gandikota surged over 250,000.
