Lam Doubles Through Oya in Massive Pot

Niveau 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Picking up the action on a flop of {k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{k-Hearts}, Alex Epstein bet 2,300 from the button before Masashi Oya raised to 5,300 in the big blind.

Aaron Lam then made it 16,500 from middle position and Epstein called. Oya then moved all in and Lam quickly called for his last 129,000. "That's what I get for three-betting the button," Epstein said as he folded, saying he had pocket tens.

Lam showed {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for the flopped full house, while Oya had {k-Spades}{8-Clubs} for trip kings. The board ran out {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Lam doubled up in a 275,000-chip pot, leaving Oya, who began the day with more than 140,000, on crumbs just 30 minutes in.
