Eolis Sporting Big Hat and Big Stack

Niveau 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Wendeen Eolis, who made history as the first woman to ever cash in the Main Event back in 1986, was facing a bet of 3,000 from an under-the-gun player on a board of {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

Eolis, wearing a large floral hat, min-raised to 6,000 and her opponent called. The river was the {5-Diamonds} and Eolis threw out 18,000.

"I fold," her opponent said, throwing away {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} as Eolis took down the big pot.

Niveau 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Kevin Rabichow
Kevin Rabichow

Kevin Rabichow saw a {q-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop three-ways and both the blinds checked to him.

Rabichow fired out 600 and both players called to see the {5-Clubs} turn. The action checked around to the {3-Hearts} river.

The small blind checked, the big blind bet, and Rabichow let it go.

Rabichow has more than $2,000,000 in earnings, including a second-place finish in the $100,000 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller last year for $1,200,000.

Sitepu Uses Tens

Niveau 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action came in on the river as the board read {7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} with a chunky pot of around 27,000 in the middle. From the small blind, Sandhy Sitepu made a smaller-sized bet of only about 1/5th pot as he tossed out 5,600. Ryosuke Hiroki flung in the call.

Sitepu tabled the black tens with the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} which was good as Kiroki mucked.

Kornuth Applies Pressure

Niveau 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Chance Kornuth, who enjoyed a deep run in the WSOP Main Event last year, ultimately falling in 16th place, was involved in a hand from the cutoff against a player on the button. With the flop reading {2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs} Kornuth checked and then called when his opponent bet 800.

Both players checked through the {a-Diamonds} turn to the {7-Hearts} river. The button player appeared to think Kornuth had checked and reached for chips before realising the action was still on his opponent. Kornuth decided to fire off a large overbet of 6,800. The button player went into the tank but did eventually find a fold to send the small pot Kornuth's direction.

Comeskey is Feeling It

Niveau 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Enjoying a relaxing massage, Caitlin Comeskey saw a player open in middle position and a field caller in late position.

She looked down at her cards in the big blind and decided the price was going up. She bumped it up to about 3,300 and both her opponents released their cards quickly.

She smirked as she raked the early pot, ready for the long day ahead.
