Ho Overbet Jams Turn with Semi-Bluff, Gets Overpair to Fold

Niveau 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

On the last hand before break, there was roughly 210,000 in the middle on a {3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades} board when Arsh Grover checked to Sang Ho in the cutoff and Ho opted to shove for his last 237,000.

Grover was stuck and after a couple of minutes, the clock was called. With less than five seconds to make a decision, he folded {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} face up.

Ho breathed a sigh of relief as he flipped over {a-Spades}{10-Spades} as he scooped the pot.

Nguyen happily showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for just ace-high as he raked in another pot.

Shak Eliminated, Executioner Draws Glares with Celebration

Niveau 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Dan Shak opened to 23,000 in late position and was three-bet to 78,000 by Phuoc Nguyen in the big blind.

Shak then moved all in for 325,000. Nguyen took his time before deciding to call to put Shak at risk.

Dan Shak: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Phuoc Nguyen: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}, and Nguyen exuberantly jumped up and clapped, saying "you gotta go," as Shak gathered his belongings.

Shak handled his opponent's celebration well, with his tablemates showing support and telling Nguyen that his celebration and comments were excessive and that he should respect his opponents.

Nguyen said he didn't mean anything by it and apologized, but eyes will definitely be on him in any large future pots.
