Smith Sent to Rail by Souki

Niveau 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
William Smith
William Smith

Philippe Souki opened to 425,000 in middle position and William Smith moved all in for approximately 2,200,000 in the hijack. Action folded back to Souki who called.

William Smith: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Philippe Souki: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

Smith was pipped as the {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop paired both players. The {8-Diamonds} turn left Smith needing a ten to survive, but the {3-Clubs} completed the board and he made his way to the payout desk.

Jeckeln Scores Big Double Through Hobbs

Niveau 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Andres Jeckeln
Andres Jeckeln

In a three-bet pot to the {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop with some 3,500,000 in the middle, James Hobbs checked from under the gun and took fewer than ten seconds before calling the shove by Andres Jeckeln for 5,775,000 when they got it in for a very large pot.

Andres Jeckeln: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
James Hobbs: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The {j-Hearts} turn was a narrow miss or Hobbs and he didn't connect with the {2-Diamonds} river either to lose a big portion of his stack.

One hand later, David Levine raised to 2,500,000 out the small blind and Hobbs called all-in for 1,725,000 in the big blind.

James Hobbs: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
David Levine: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The kicker played on the {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} board and Hobbs stuck around albeit with a much shorter stack than he had in the break.

Gisler Spikes an Ace to Double Up

Niveau 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Jon Gisler was one of the shorter stacks and shoved all in for 2,500,000 from the cutoff. Michael Duek re-shoved all in on the button and the blinds folded.

Jon Gisler: {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Michael Duek: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Asher Conniff
Asher Conniff

Asher Conniff opened to 400,000 from early position and was called by Kamal Bittar on the button as well as Imran Bhojani out of the big blind.

Bhojani led out for 300,000 on the {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop only to see Conniff raise to 1,100,000. Bittar quickly folded to send the action back to Bhojani who made the call.

The {a-Diamonds} turn saw Bhojani check and Conniff fire off 1,600,000. Bhojani took some time pondering his options before releasing his holding to take a hit to his stack.

Eddy Sabat
Eddy Sabat

Eddy Sabat got the last of it in and Karim Rebei was the one to look him up.

Eddy Sabat: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
Karim Rebei: {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades} and the ten on the river made two pair for Sebei, which was good to send Sabat to the rail as Day 6 nears its closing stages.

Labat Chips Up in Battle of Blinds

Niveau 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Antoine Labat
Antoine Labat

Adrian Attenborough limped the small blind and called when Antoine Labat raised to 800,000 in the big blind.

The dealer fanned the {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop and Attenborough check-called for 800,000, while both players checked the {2-Diamonds} turn.

The {2-Hearts} completed the board, Attenborough checked again, and Labat slid out a stack of lavender chips for a bet of 2,000,000. Attenborough briefly thought about it before sending his cards into the muck to concede the pot to the French 2018 WSOP Main Event final tablist.

Ong Runs Down Minor on the River

Niveau 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Robert Minor
Robert Minor

Robert Minor open-shoved for 2,245,000 in middle position, Dingxiang Ong re-shoved, and the rest of the table got out of the way.

Robert Minor: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}
Dingxiang Ong: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

"Where's the burrito. Somebody get a burrito," Minor yelled as the flop came {10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}, giving him two pair. The {k-Hearts} on the turn improved him to a higher two pair.

"That burrito might be coming out soon," Minor said, filming the action with his phone, as the {9-Spades} spiked on the river to give Ong a full house.

Minor dropped his phone at the sight of that cruel river before picking it back up and pointing it at the board. "That's called a burrito," he said about the nine as he wished the table luck.
