Attenborough Sends Miller Down Under

Niveau 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Jordyn Miller in the big blind found himself all in and at risk against Adrian Attenborough on the button.

Jordyn Miller: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Adrian Attenborough: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Miller was in rough shape and would need significant help to survive. The {2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop immediately improved his chances as he picked up the nut flush draw with the {j-Clubs} also giving him a two way straight draw. He could find no further help, however, on the board pairing {j-Hearts} river, sending him out of the tournament.

Meeks and Labat Chop a Pot

Niveau 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Antoine Labat had raised from under the gun and earned two callers out of the blinds. There wasn't much action on the {10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop and the {3-Hearts} turn saw Pierce Mckellar and Jacob Meeks as well as Labat invest 230,000 each. They checked it down on the {5-Clubs} river as Labat checked behind.

Meeks tabled the {j-Hearts}{10-Spades} for a full house and Labat chopped the pot with the {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} while Mckellar mucked his cards.

Caleb King: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
William Smith: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

King ran his king-jack into aces, and he was drawing dead on the turn as the board ran out {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

Or Krief Spikes the River to Bust Lee and Cruz

Niveau 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Haim Or Krief
Haim Or Krief

Haim Or Krief raised to 220,000 from early position and Gilbert Cruz three-bet to 540,000.

Action folded around to Stanley Lee, who shoved for 1,840,000. Gilbert Cruz called with just a bit more and Haim Or Krief came along with the biggest stack of the three to put both players at risk.

Stanley Lee: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Gilbert Cruz: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Haim Or Krief: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{a-Hearts} with the heart on the river to spike a flush for Or Krief and Cruz and Lee took the long trip to the payout window.

Welch Gets There on the River Against Setna

Niveau 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Jimmy Setna bet 350,000 in the cutoff on a flop of {9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Spades} before Robert Welch came back with a raise to 1,150,000.

Setna called and both players checked the {7-Hearts} on the turn. The river came the {k-Spades} and Welch put out another 850,000.

Setna went into the tank for a few minutes, muttering to himself the possibilities of Welch's holdings before he flicked in a chip to signify a call.

Welch turned over {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for the rivered two pair and Setna mucked.

Li Scores Double Knockout

Niveau 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

On the final hand before break, Pierce Mckellar opened to 200,000 under the gun and Fabian Schaefer Carreno moved all in on the button for 2,515,000. Victor Li then moved all in from the big blind, and Mckellar thought about his decision with a fairly similar stack to Carreno.

"Gamble!" exclaimed Mckellar as he put in the chips.

Fabian Schaefer Carreno: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Pierce Mckellar: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Victor Li: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The dealer spread the {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop to put Li way in front with top set. The {8-Spades} fell on the turn to leave Carreno calling for a nine, but the {k-Spades} completed the board, eliminating both Mckellar and Carreno.

Shijia Liu opened to 250,000 on the button and was called by Andres Jeckeln out of the big blind.

Jeckeln checked to the preflop raiser on the {2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{q-Spades} flop and Liu continued for 275,000. After some time, Jeckeln counted out a raise to 795,000 and Liu, without much hesitation, folded to send a small pot Jeckeln's direction.
