Souki Fights Back Against Krentzman; Duczak Shoves on Kunze

Niveau 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Just moments after Evan Krentzman's double-up versus Philippe Souki, the two were back at it again. Souki raised to 625,000 in the cutoff and Krentzman three-bet to 1,600,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Souki jammed all in, getting a fold from Krentzman.

A couple of hands later, Aaron Duczak raised to 650,000 on the button and Tom Kunze called from the small blind. The flop fell {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Kunze checked to Duczak who continued for 775,000. Kunze check-raised to 1,900,000 and Duczak instantly shoved all in for around 4,000,000. Kunze snap-folded and Duczak collected the pot.

Attenborough Suffers Another Setback as Rosa Doubles

Niveau 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Outer Table

Adrian Attenborough raised to 600,000 from under the gun and Vadim Rozin three-bet to 2,100 in the big blind, which Attenborough called. On the {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop, Rozin bet 1,500,000 and Attenborough folded.

In the next hand, Jonathan Rosa jammed the last 3,600,000 preflop and Attenborough called in the big blind.

Jonathan Rosa: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Adrian Attenborough: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The inferior ace got there on the {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} board and the "blessed" Rosa doubled.

Tzur Levy then defended his big blind against a button raise by Rozin and check-called the {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop for 600,000. He also check-called another 1,400,000 on the {k-Spades} turn and they checked the {8-Clubs} river. Levy tabled the {k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and that won the pot.

Andy Taylor then faced a raise to 650,000 by Robert Welch and the call by Rozin. He three-bet to 2,600,000 and Welch jammed, Rozin folded and Taylor called.

Robert Welch: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Andy Taylor: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Welch was delighted when the {4-Clubs} appeared in the window but sheer horror followed for him with the {6-Spades}{3-Spades}. Two blanks later, on the {q-Diamonds} turn and {k-Hearts} river, Welch sat back down to continue his Main Event journey.

Karim Rebei opened to 675,000 in middle position and Cameron Blazevich flat-called in the small blind.

The dealer fanned the {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop and Blazevich check-raised a bet of 675,000 up to 1,700,000. Rebei called.

The {q-Diamonds} fell on the turn, Blazevich led for 3,000,000, and Rebei raised to 6,200,000, causing Blazevich to muck his hand fairly quickly.

Jonathan Rosa Eliminated in 34th Place ($262,300)

Niveau 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Jonathan Rosa
Jonathan Rosa

Picking up the action after the flop, Jonathan Rosa in early position was involved in a hand with Espen Jorstad in the big blind. With the board reading {3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Spades} Jorstad checked and Rosa led out for 900,000. Jorstad made the call to see the turn.

Jorstad checked for a second time on the {7-Diamonds} turn and Rosa responded by moving all in for his last 6,100,000. After some thought and with a "good luck" directed towards Rosa, Jorstad called with the covering stack.

Jonathan Rosa: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Espen Jorstad: {q-Spades}{7-Spades}

Though ahead, Rosa would need to dodge a plethora of outs to survive. Unfortunately for him he was unable to do so as the {q-Clubs} rolled off on the river, bringing his deep run to an end in 34th place.

Double-Double Duczak

Niveau 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Aaron Duczak
Aaron Duczak

Aaron Duczak opened to 650,000 in early position and Philippe Souki shipped all in from the small blind as the big stack. The big blind folded and Duczak quickly called off his stack of 8,700,000.

Aaron Duczak: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Philippe Souki: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Duczak held the better of the two pocket pairs and the flop of {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} gave him nothing to worry about. The {6-Diamonds} on the turn and the {4-Clubs} on the river was a safe runout as the Canadian doubled up once again.

Madan Pressures Welch

Niveau 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Mayank Madan opened to 600,000 from middle position and received calls from Robert Welch in late position as well as Tzur Levy out of the big blind.

Levy checked on a flop of {10-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Madan continued for 1,000,000. Welch called while Levy folded to send the two remaining players to the turn.

Madan slowed down on the {3-Clubs} turn, checking to Welch who pushed 1,700,000 into the middle. After some consideration, Madan moved all in, eliciting a quick fold from Welch.
