Action Back Underway

Niveau 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

The final 27 players are back in their seats and the cards are in the air en route to determining the final nine players in the 2022 WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas.

Chip Leader Rebei Applies Pressure

Niveau 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Karim Rebei raised to 925,000 and Matthew Su three-bet to 2,600,000 in the hijack, which Rebei called. On the {10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, big stack Rebei pondered about his decision for a while and then bet 1,750,000. That resulted in a call by Su and they headed to the {q-Hearts} on the turn.

Rebei took 84 seconds before leading for another 2,250,000 and Su called after 67 seconds. That led to the {q-Diamonds} on the river and Rebei took just 39 seconds before pushing all-in. Su instantly folded and was shown the {k-Spades}{10-Clubs} by Rebei

Duek Gets A Fold

Niveau 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Vadim Rozin opened to 900,000 on the button and was three-bet to 3,000,000 by Michael Duek out of the small blind. Rozin made the call to see a flop.

Both players checked through the {10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop to the {6-Hearts} turn where Duek led out for 2,500,000. That was enough to convince Rozin to fold and keep Duek chipping up.

Diaz Doubles Through Souki

Niveau 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Philippe Souki opened to 850,000 in early position and David Diaz ripped all in for 2,750,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Souki quickly called to put Diaz at risk.

David Diaz: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Philippe Souki: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Diaz held the better of the two pocket pairs and had both of the suits covered. The board ran out {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Diaz earned himself a double up.
