Emmett Wishes For a Call

Niveau 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

In a heads-up pot with 36,000 in the middle on a flop showing A94, Boris Kolev checked from the small blind to Randall Emmett in the big blind who bet out 12,000. Kolev tossed in chips for the call and the pair saw the A turn.

Kolev checked a second time and Emmett tapped the table to check back. On the J river Kolev checked again and Randall slid out a bet of 30,000. Kolev pondered for a few moments, but eventually made the fold and the pot was sent to Emmett.

"Why couldn't you just call me there?" said Emmett to Kolev as he stacked his chips.

Coleman Doubles Through Grech

Niveau 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Zachary Grech opened to 25,000 from under-the-gun and action folded to David Coleman in the hijack, who raised to 120,000 — leaving himself a single 1k chip behind.

Action folded back around to Grech, who raised again to put Coleman all in. Coleman called and hands were tabled.

Zachary Grech: 10J
David Coleman: AJ

Coleman had Grech dominated, and the QA9102 runout kept Coleman best for the double up.

Ramos Doubles Through Delgado in Massive Pot

Niveau 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Felipe Ramos
Felipe Ramos

Julio Delgado opened to 24,000 from the cutoff and action folded to Felipe Ramos in the small blind, who three-bet to 98,000. Delgado called for a heads-up pot.

The flop came KJ2 and Ramos continued for 51,000. Delgado responded by raising to 130,000 and Ramos called.

Ramos checked to Delgado, who bet an even 200,000. Ramos then announced he was all in for 559,000 total.

Delgado asked for a count before making the call.

Felipe Ramos: AA
Julio Delgado: K10

Ramos' aces were best, and an inconsequential 9 completed the board — providing Ramos with a full double up and leaving Delgado with just 2,000 left.

Delgado busted shortly after the hand.

Shimizu Spikes River To Send Einsohn To The Exit

Niveau 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Nozomu Shimizu opened the action to 25,000 from the hijack and it folded around to Jarod Einsohn in the big blind who counted his stack of 132,000 before sliding them in the middle. Shimizu asked for a quick count and eventually tossed in chips for the call to put Einsohn at risk.

Jarod Einsohn: AQ
Nozomu Shimizu: J9

The flop came a sweat for Einsohn when it fanned out 10108, giving Shimizu a straight draw to go along with his live cards. The 6 was safe for Einsohn, but when the river fell the Q, it was the queen-high straight that scored the pot to send Einsohn to the exit.
