Somehow, Cote's pocket fives held up on the 33JA6 runout and he was awarded the pot.

Niveau 20 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu was seen raking in a huge pot as he eliminated another player. Negreanu was behind with his A10 against the all-in player's AQ, but the board ran out A510102 to give Negreanu the victory and send his opponent to the rail.

Negreanu shook the eliminated player's hand and took a photo with him, as other players at the table noted how well he was running.

Bradley Gilleland went all in from early position and was called by the big blind, who had less and therefore was at risk.

Big Blind: AK
Bradley Gilleland: AQ

Gilleland remained behind on the A98 flop, but a Q on the turn put him ahead. His opponent was not helped by the 10 river, and Gilleland scored the knockout.

All-Ins Aired Around Arena

Niveau 20 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

At this stage in the tournament, almost every single table has at least one player all in. This is to be expected, as most players with short stacks are trying to run up or bust trying before the day's end.

Kelly's Ladies Win Four-Way Pot

Niveau 20 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

With "Jersey" Joe Frank all in from the big blind for 25,000, a player in middle position raised all in for 165,000. Kathryn Kelly thought for a while before going all in for 170,000. The cutoff, having everyone else covered, made the call.

Joe Frank: J6
Middle Position: A10
Kathryn Kelly: QQ
Cutoff: AK

Kelly's queens held throughout the 83894 scoring her two eliminations and a huge pot.

Niveau 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Players have been sent on their final 20-minute break of the night, as tournament staff work to race off the yellow T-1,000 chips.

Negreanu On the Rise

Niveau 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Luca Pecoraro had moved all in for around 200,000 and action folded around to Daniel Negreanu, the last line of defense.

"Alright, well, I guess we'll film it," he said as he picked up his vlogging camera and said some things into it, as he usually does.

The result was that he decided to gamble in this particular spot and made the call, putting Pecoraro at risk of elimination.

Luca Pecoraro: A8
Daniel Negreanu: AQ

"Oh wow, ace-eight," he said, somewhat surprised he was actually ahead of Pecoraro's holding.

Negreanu ended up holding his lead through the 749310 runout and he was pushed the pot while Percoraro was sent to the payout desk.

Burchfield Takes Out Leathley

Niveau 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Khris Burchfield opened to 40,000 from the button before Guy Leathley reraised all in from the big blind. Burchfield called.

Guy Leathley: J10
Khris Burchfield: 77

Leathley had a flush draw on the 74A board, but the A gave Burchfield the winning hand. The 8 river was meaningless as Leathley headed to the payout line.

Madhvami Scores Double Knockout

Niveau 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

After a player opened to 30,000, Terrance Reid moved all in for around 200,000 and was quickly followed up by two more all-ins, the last of which was big stack Neeraj Madhvami. The action was then back on the original raiser who was in the tank for a good while before he painfully made the fold.

The cards were then tabled with Madhvami covering.

Opponent: AQ
Terrance Reid: AQ
Neeraj Madhvami: AK

"Ughhhh noooo! Why did I fold!?" said the player who folded was kicking himself as he admitted to folding pocket jacks.

The board ran out 96J97 for Madhvami and his ace-king high to scoop the entire pot, eliminating both of his opponents in the process.
