Pupillo Takes Four-Bet Pot

Mori Eskandani opened from early position and Nick Pupillo put in the three-bet next to act. It folded to Shaun Deeb on the button who four-bet and only Pupillo called.

The flop came A33 and Pupillo checked to Deeb who continued with a bet, which Pupillo called. On the K turn Pupillo check-called another bet from Deeb.

The J completed the board and both players checked to a showdown. Pupillo rolled over A10 for top pair and took down the pot when Deeb mucked.

Shimizu Leaves Rast With Crumbs

Brian Rast and Nozomu Shimizu were heads-up from the blinds on a JJ8 flop.

Rast check-called from the small against bets from Shimizu on both the flop and 2 turn; however, Rast check-folded facing a final bet from Shimizu when the 10 completed the board.

Rast was left with just 10,000 after the hand and busted shortly thereafter.

Ronnie Bardah opened the action on the button and David Lieberman made the call in the big blind.

On the flop of K86, Lieberman checked to Bardah who bet. Lieberman raised and Bardah came along to the 6 turn.

Lieberman bet out and Bardah went in the tank. "Want to see it?" said Lieberman as Bardah contemplated his options.

"Okay, lets see the bluff," replied Bardah before eventually making the fold.

Lieberman rolled over KJ to show he flopped top pair.

"I don't bluff in this game," said Lieberman as he collected the pot.

Dan Zack opened from under the gun and it folded to Shaun Deeb in the small blind who put in a three-bet, which only Zack called.

The flop fanned out 1032 and Deeb continued with a bet. Zack tossed out a raise and Deeb completed. On the Q turn and again on the 4 river both players checked to a showdown.

Deeb announced "ace high" and rolled over A9, which was enough to take the pot when Zack mucked his hand.

In a heads-up pot with close to 25,000 in the middle on a flop showing J85, Gregory Pinsonneault checked from under the gun to Nacho Barbero in the hijack who bet, which Pinsonneault called.

The K rolled off and Pinsonneault checked again to Barbero who bet. Pinsonneault raised to put Barbero all in who made the call for his last 6,000.

Barbero found the turned king to be well in the lead and when the river fell the 5 Barbero scored the double up.

Katz and Silver Get a Little

Nate Silver raised on the button and the player in the small blind three-bet. Cary Katz cold-called from the big blind and then Nate Silver made it four bets to go. Both the small blind and Katz called.

Silver bet after being checked to on the Q66 flop and both players called.

It was checked to Silver again on the 8 turn and he bet again. This time only Katz called.

Katz check-called a bet from Silver on the river and Silver showed KQ for queens and sixes. Katz held the KQ for the same hands and they split the pot.

"How did you bet that last one?" Katz said. "Real greedy."
