Jans Arends raised to 1,150,000 in the small blind with 10♦5♦ and Leon Sturm just called in the big blind with A♥8♥. The flop came 6♥6♣2♦ and Arends continued with a bet of 800,000 which Sturm called.

The turn was the K♥ and Arends fired out another bet of 1,200,000. Sturm called with his flush draw and the 7♦ completed the board. Arends moved all in for his last 3,600,000 and Sturm was forced to lay the best hand down.

Bill Klein limped in from the small blind with J♣J♦ and Jans Arends checked the big blind with 4♥3♠. The flop came A♥7♣4♦ and Klein check-called a bet of 500,000 from Arends.

The turn brought the 10♠ and both players checked to the 10♥ on the river. Klein fired out a bet of 1,000,000 on the river and Arends flicked in a call. Klein turned over his pair of jacks and Arends was left on the short stack again.

Arends Falls to the Short Stack

Leon Sturm raised to 800,000 on the button with A♣4♥ and was called by Bill Klein in the small blind with Q♣7♣ and Jans Arends in the big blind with Q♦10♣.

The flop came Q♥6♥3♠ and the action checked around to the Q♠ on the river. Klein checked again and Arends announced a bet of 800,000. Sturm stepped aside but Klein just called.

The river was the 7♥ and Klein led out with a large bet of 4,100,000 after making a full house. With no time extensions for Arends, he had to make a quick decision and paid him off. Klein tabled the full house and vaulted to a big chip lead.
