Kornuth Busts Negreanu
Niveau 8
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Chance Kornuth opened to 26,000 on the button and Talal Shakerchi called in the small blind before Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 127,000 in the big blind. Kornuth responded with a four-bet to around 500,000 and Shakerchi folded as Negreanu pulled out the selfie stick.
"This is an interesting spot," he told his vlog viewers. "I call."
Daniel Negreanu: A♣Q♣
Chance Kornuth: Q♦Q♠
"I was hoping he'd have jacks!" Negreanu said when he saw he was in bad shape.
The runout of 3♠6♠10♠4♣3♣ was no help to Negreanu and he was eliminated on his second bullet as Day 1 closes out.
"Boom! Dead. GG guys," Negreanu said as he left.
