Daly on the Rise

Niveau 20 : Limits 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Jason Daly scooped a pot against Kyle Cartwright before Johannes Becker then won most of the chips in a heads-up pot with James Obst.

A three-way pot between Daly in the small blind, Becker in the big blind and Obst in early position then led to the 752 flop on which Obst bet and earned two check-calls. The A turn was checked and Daly bet the 5 river, Becker called and Obst reluctantly folded.

Daly's AQ84 won three quarters against the 9442 of Becker.

Johannes Becker had won the last hand in showdown prior to the break and then earned several smaller pots to chip away, taking over the lead at his table. In the latest hand, he had 2.5 big bets out to the QJ722 river when in the small blind and bet again.

Kyle Cartwright mulled it over in the hijack and folded.

Three-Way Chop Benefits Chen the Most

With 100,000 each invested preflop to the KJ7 flop, the action checked around between Kyle Cartwright, Johannes Becker and James Chen. It was Becker who bet the 5 turn and Chen raised, Cartwright called and so did Becker.

After the 8 river, Cartwright and Becker check-called a bet by Chen and the cards were exposed.

Chen's AJ52 for two pair and the nut low earned the most of it, as Cartwright's A732 and the AQJ2 of Becker only had the nut low as well.
