Adrian Mateos Holds Slim Lead Entering Day 2
A total of 35 players, which includes 22 WSOP bracelet winners, from Day 1 are set to return for Day 2 of Event #29: $100,000 High Roller at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. The number of participants may rise with late registration remaining open until the start of Day 2.
Four-time WSOP bracelet winner Adrian Mateos leads a trio of players to top 3,000,000 from Day 1, and Mateos enters Day 2 as the chip leader with 3,650,000. He’s closely followed by Chris Hunichen (3,620,000) and Chance Kornuth (3,375,000).
The remaining field boasts a collection of who’s who in the poker community, all of whom are more than capable of making a charge in the race for the final table. The list includes Espen Jorstad (2,200,000), Jeremy Ausmus (2,190,000), Koray Aldemir (1,800,000), Justin Bonomo (1,795,000) and Seth Davies (1,245,000), among others.

The entrants are scheduled to resume play for Day 2 at noon local time at with 15 40-minute levels, with starting blinds of 20,000/40,000 and a 40,000 ante. Players are scheduled to take a 60-minute dinner break after Level 21, approximately 6:30 p.m. local time.

Cards are in the air on Day 2 for Level 13, with blinds starting off at 20,000/40,000 and a 40,000 ante.
With late registration closed, the field has grown to 93 participants, generating a prize pool of $8,997,750.
The players are scheduled to play 15 levels, each in 40-minute increments, and will have a 15-minute break every three levels.

Foxen Fires Three Bullets

Kristen Foxen opened to 80,000 in the hijack and Jeremy Ausmus defended from the big blind. The flop came Q♥J♥9♦ and Ausmus check-called a bet of 85,000 from Foxen.
The turn brought the 6♣ and Ausmus checked again. Foxen tossed in a bet of 130,000 and Ausmus stuck around for the 6♠ on the river. Ausmus checked for the third time and Foxen pushed all in for her last 335,000. Ausmus quickly folded and Foxen picked up an early pot.

Next door, Espen Jorstad raised to 85,000 and Bryn Kenney moved all in for 570,000. The action folded back to Jorstad who stuck in the chips to call. Kenney rolled over A♠A♦ and Jorstad was in tough with A♣K♠. It was a clean board for Kenney who also tallied a double up.
