Kniep Struggling For Momentum

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Andreas Kniep, who enjoyed a deep run in the 2021 WSOP Main Event that saw him finish in 18th place, has struggled to get much going early on Day 1d. Kniep opened to 800 from the cutoff and was called by a player on the button as well as the small blind to send action three-way to the flop.

The small blind checked on a flop of 2K9 and Kniep continued for 1,100. Neither one of his opponents seemed convinced with both committing calling chips.

Action checked through the 6 turn to the 7 river at which point the small blind pushed 3,500 into the middle. Kniep instantly folded and the button player followed suit to send a decent pot over to the small blind.
