Ferro Cracks Aces
Niveau 21
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Jose Ferro and Rob Wazwaz were all in preflop with the former covered.
Jose Ferro: K♥J♠10♠9♥
Rob Wazwaz: A♥A♠7♠4♠
The board ran K♠J♣4♣ and Ferro pulled ahead of Wazwaz with top two. The turn was the 5♦, improving neither player. Wazwaz needed to either catch an ace or pair one the low cards on the board. That wasn't the case when the 7♣ fell on the river.
Ferro had found a double just a couple orbits earlier, yelling "Vamos!" when he scooped the pot. This was the first time he has eclipsed a million chips in this event.
