William Rector Eliminated in 12th Place ( $16,028)
Matthew Beinner opened the action with a raise in late positon to 175,000 and was called by Antonin Teisseire on the button, as well as William Rector in the big blind. The dealer spread J♠5♦7♣ and Rector checked, Beinner checked, and Teisseire placed a pot sized bet.
Rector made the call for less and Beinner got out of the way saying, "Well, I'm sure one of you had a good hand, I fold."
Cards were on their backs and Rector was at risk.
William Rector: A♣Q♦7♦7♥
Antonin Teisseire: Q♣10♣9♥8♥
Rector had flopped a set of sevens and Teisseire had an inside wrap. The turn converted Teisseire to the full wrap with the K♠. Rector requested that the dealer pair the board on the river but they didn't oblige, instead peeling the 6♥ which was one of the many card that made Teisseire a straight.
PokerNews had a brief moment to chat with Rector and he said he'd been coming to the WSOP since 2006. He works in real estate and usually just comes out for a couple weeks, which is the case this time as well. He has little interest in no limit hold'em and is happy playing any of the other games.
