Queen on the River Scores Liantonio Double Knockout

Niveau 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Giuseppe Liantonio raised to 33,000 under the gun and Brian McKain called off his remaining 32,000 followed by Michael Uguccioni, Hector Zayas, and Jarred Solomon, going five ways to the flop.

When the dealer fanned a flop of J73, Solomon checked and Liantonio continued for 80,000. Uguccioni jammed his entire stack of 261,000 in the middle and the action folded back to Liantonio who made the call before all three live hands were on their backs.

Brian McKain: A1098
Michael Uguccioni: JJ95
Giuseppe Liantonio: QQ88

All three players had a piece as McKain flopped a wrap and nut-flush draw, while Liantonio flopped a gutshot and flush draw to go with his overpair and Uguccioni flopped the nuts with top set.

The 7 paired the board, giving Uguccioni a full house but the Q river improved Liantonio to queens full to eliminate both players and scoop a massive pot.

Haskell's Kings Fall and He Heads to the Payout Desk

Niveau 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Caleb Furth raised to 28,000 under the gun before Evan Haskell three-bet to a little over 100,000. The action folded back around to Furth and he put in another raise. Haskell called off his stack of about 120,000 and both hands were tabled.

Evan Haskell: KKJ3
Caleb Furth: A632

The A82 flop gave Furth the lead with two pair and Haskell couldn't catch up as the board completed with the Q on the turn and the 5 on the river.

Slobodskoy Gobbles Up Gabriel

Niveau 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

After losing a pot to Daniel Negreanu the previous hand for most of his chips, Thomas Gabriel moved all in the next hand for around 100,000 after a 30,000 open from Negreanu.

Then Naor Slobodskoy decided that wasn't quite enough and raised the price of poker to 220,000.

"No! You're not supposed to do that, we're supposed to see a flop together!" Negreanu joked as he laid down his hand and the cards were tabled.

Thomas Gabriel: QQ69
Naor Slobodskoy: AKK5

Gabriel was going to need some help to catch up to Slobodskoy's superior holding, but the runout of 61045x10 did not do it and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Frederici's Jam on the Flop Gets Through

Niveau 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Eric Fields raised to 48,000 in the small blind before Seth Frederici three-bet the maximum of 144,000 in the big blind. Fields went into the tank for about two minutes before making the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of QQ2 and once Fields checked, Frederici pushed his remaining 50,000 across the line, putting Fields in the tank once again.

Fields looked unsure of what to do, looking like he was going to fold multiple times during his one minute decision, and ultimately pitched the cards into the muck, sending the pot to Frederici.

"Bullocks" Says Himmelbrand

Niveau 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Jason Bullock and Greg Himmelbrand were intertwined in an all-in pot preflop where they thought they had the same hand, but that's rarely the case in Omaha.

Jason Bullock: AA104
Greg Himmelbrand: AA73

Both players had aces with one suit and different danglers. The board came out no sweat, as they both flopped different wheel draws on 5Q2. The turn didn't change much when the 6 fell, but Bullock did make a wheel on the river when the 3 peeled.

Himmelbrand was left to do the accounting for how much of his stack was surrendered to Bullock and he promptly paid the man 667,000 from his stack, taking a huge hit.

Leinonen Double Barrels

Niveau 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Santtu Leinonen raised to 40,000 in early position and Benjamin Voreland defended the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of AK6 and Voreland check-called a bet of 50,000.

The 10 landed on the turn and once checked to, Leinonen continued with the pressure, double barreling for 150,000. Voreland only took a few seconds before surrendering the pot.
