The Final Eight Players are Set to Battle for Bracelet Glory

After an intense day of poker in Event #35: $10,000 Secret Bounty at the 2023 World Series of Poker at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas that saw many notable faces come and go, we are down to the final eight players who will compete for a $733,317 first prize and a WSOP gold bracelet.

Bounties were being awarded around the room, with each player sweating or anti- sweating the others. By knocking out Fabian Gumz, Jesse Lonis was awarded the first bounty for $5,000. Ali Shahni won the $250,000 bounty.

Other bounty winners included: Artur Martirosian ($100,000) and Tyler Cornell ($100,000). Matthew Bremer ($50,000) and Sriharsha Doddapaneni ($50,000). Upeshka De Silva ($25,000), Axel Hallay ($25,000), Uri Reichenstein ($25,000), and Eric Yanovsky ($25,000).

Some of the notable Day 2 cashers included Phil Hellmuth, (11th - $45,301), which is closest he’s come so far this year to a bracelet; Matt Berkey, 14th place ($29,600); Tyler Cornell, (26th - $20,617); Nate Silver, (32nd - $17,635); Stephen Song, (52 - $13,572); Loni Hui, (59th - $11,876); and Brian Rast (69th - $11,876)

Play will begin on June 16, at 4:00 p.m. local time at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. The remaining eight will play down to a winner, with 15-minute breaks every three levels, with the dinner break time yet to be determined.
