The A♣ appeared on the turn, which both players checked. The K♣ showed up on the river and the player in the big blind led out with 2,800. Tribble immediately sat up in his chair and studied the board. He then made the call and his opponent showed 9♣6♥ for a pair of nines. Tribble tabled A♦A♥ for top set.
Tribble’s opponent chuckled seeing what he bet into.
“I should’ve raised you,” Tribble said with a laugh.
