Bloomer Gets One Through
A player in early position raised and Caleb Bloomer three-bet to 30,000 out of the small blind.
The original raiser called and action went to the flop, which showed 9♥K♣9♦. Both players checked, then the action heated up on the next street when the dealer placed 10♠ on the board.
Bloomer led out by going all in for his remaining 89,000. His opponent asked the dealer to spread out the pot, which contained approximately 63,000, then went in the blender.
“You’ve only played three hands in the past two hours,” the opponent said.
Bloomer remained quiet and didn’t move the whole time, while his opponent took almost a full minute before folding.
Bloomer then emphatically slammed down A♣5♥ on the board, showing he had nothing but ace high.
“Damn you,” his opponent said with a chuckle.
