Vazquez With the Hero Shove

Brian Vazquez bet 2,500 from the cutoff and was called by the big blind. The flop came 9♣5♠3♠ and Vazquez continued for 2,600. The big blind raised to 10,000 which was called by Vazquez.

The big blind bet 25,000 on the K♠ turn and Vazquez went deep into the tank as they only had 32,000 in front of them. They eventually decided to put all of their chips on the line and the big blind called the 7,000 extra.

Vazquez's pair of sixes were ahead, but the big blind could hit any ace, queen, or club to take the pot. Before the river was dealt Vazquez told the dealer "If you give me a brick I will give you two percent of my action!" The dealer duly obliged as the 2♥ completed the board meaning Mario the dealer will be sweating the Uruguayan for the rest of the tournament.

Tiffany Michelle opened to 4,000 under the gun and a player in the big blind three-bet to 13,000. Michelle made the call.

The flop came out 8♠A♦5♥. The player in the big blind bet 5,500 and Michelle quickly moved all in with a covering stack, forcing a fold from her opponent.

Nachtey Pushes Out Opponent on River

Alex Nachtey raised 2,500 on the cutoff, but then faced a player’s three-bet of 9,000 on the button. After the blinds folded, Nachtey called.

The dealer fanned A♣8♦Q♣ on the flop, which Nachtey checked. His opponent bet 8,000 and Nachtey called to push the pot to close to 40,000.

The turn showed K♠ and both players checked, leading to the dealer to place 2♣ on the river. Whatever the player on the button was thinking of doing, Nachtey didn’t give an opportunity because he moved all in.

Nachtey’s opponent briefly looked at the board before mucking his hand.

With 7,000 in the middle on the turn of K♥6♠3♦Q♥, Kristy Arnett Moreno bet 4,000 from the big blind and was met with a raise from under the gun to 14,000. Arnett Moreno made the call.

The 9♥ landed on the river to complete flush and straight possibilities. Arnett Moreno wrestled back the betting lead by moving 30,000 into the middle.

The under-the-gun looked anguished thinking over their decision. They eventually folded 6♥6♣ face up whilst Arnett Moreno mucked their cards and dragged in a significant pot.

A player from middle position opened to 2,200 and Benjamin Spragg three-bet to 6,500 from the button. The player in middle position called and action was heads up going into the flop.

Action checked back to Spragg on the 6♥J♣5♠ flop and he bet 5,500, receiving a call from his opponent.

The turn was the 2♣ and Spragg moved all in, covering his opponent who had approximately 20,000 behind. The player in middle position quickly folded and Spragg was awarded a nice pot without having to go to showdown.
