Aschacher Tangles with Hinkle in Consecutive Hands

Niveau 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Ernst Aschacher has Blair Hinkle to his immediate left, but that's not stopping him from bumping heads with the WSOP bracelet winner.

During one hand, Aschacher limped in late position, but then promptly faced Hinkle’s 1,200 raise on the button. The blinds called, as did Ashacher.

The dealer fanned J25 on the flop, resulting in checks from the players in front of Hinkle, who bet 1,600. Hinkle’s action forced the blinds out of the hand, but Ashacher called.

The turn showed A, drawing checks from both players. The 9 hit the turn and Aschacher checked. Hinkle bet 3,200, but then Aschacher check-raised, which forced Hinkle to promptly fold and the dealer pushed the pot to Aschacher.

On the very next hand, the two mixed it up again.

The board showed 1055J4 and the two players were heads up. Aschacher bet after Hinkle checked out of the small blind, and took down the pot.

Wilkie Takes Down Big Pocket Pairs

Niveau 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Messineo Checks RIver to Confuse Opponent

Niveau 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

On a three-way turn, the board read KA92 when Joe Messineo in early position bet 7,500 after a check from the big blind. The middle position player to his left made the call while the big blind folded and the two went heads-up to a river 5.

Messineo looked visibly confused, visibly shaking his head as he checked it over his opponent, who seemed like he couldn't tell if Messineo was pulling a Hollywood or not, so he just checked back.

Messineo then flipped over AQ for top pair and his opponent quickly mucked to award him the pot.

"What, you didn't like that river?" another player at the table joked.

"I mean yeah I'm glad spades missed I just wasn't happy about him calling the 7,500," Messineo replied as he stacked his new chips.
