Action was picked up on the flop in a hand with John "Miami John" Cernuto in the cutoff and four other players.
The flop rolled out K♦9♠3♥ and action checked to the big blind who bet 1,000 which saw one player fold and the hijack call. In the cutoff, Cernuto raised to 3,000 and only the player in the hijack continued.
The turn peeled off the 10♠ and the hijack checked over to Cernuto who bet 10,000 and his opponent gave it some thought before folding and the WSOP bracelet winner took down the pot.
