After Talal Shakerchi completed Maxx Coleman's bring-in, James Obst made it two bets to go and Daniel Alaei made it three bets. Shakerchi then made it four bets and the other two called with Coleman folding his bring-in amidst the action.

On fourth street, Alaei checked and Shakerchi bet, getting calls from his two opponents.

Fifth street saw a round of checks, but on sixth street, pairing aces, Alaei bet, only getting called by Shakerchi.

On seventh, Alaei placed a final bet but Shakerchi couldn't call it, sending the very sizeable pot to Alaei.

Before the hand had started, Phil Hellmuth continued his table chatter and several players smirked.

"You decided to go broke with that hand?" he asked Marco Johnson, who moved his hands and pointed to his stack, showing how many chips he now had. "I didn't go broke," he joked with a wide smile.

Brian Rast responded "I don't want to get a big hand, I just want to watch".

Johnson then completed with an ace to get called by Kristopher Tong, Johannes Becker and Hellmuth the latter of which had an ace. On fourth street, Hellmuth had the lead with an ace-king and checked for Johnson to continue. Tong raised and Becker then made it three bets.

Hellmuth, still frazzled from the previous encounter, let go and Johnson tank-folded as well. Tong needed some time to consider his next option and ultimately called.

"It is not deuce to seven Razz," Tong joked and then received a deuce, while Becker paired his seven. That caused some chuckles at the table and Tong folded to Becker's bet, showing his cards to Johnson and admitting in chat after he had let go of jacks and eights.

By scooping the pot against three opponents, Becker moved back to seven figures.

Alaei bet out again on fifth and was again raised by Arieh and again made the call.

Undeterred, Alaei lead out again on sixth, but this time Arieh just called.

Alaei slowed down with a check on seventh and Arieh quickly bet out. After a few moments of deliberation, Alaei made the fold.

Hellmuth bet on both second and third streets, each time getting called by Johnson. On fourth street, Hellmuth bet once more but this time Johnson decided to raise. After a short speech, Hellmuth relinquished his holding to send the pot to Johnson, who showed the table the 10♥.

The friction evident between Johnson and Hellmuth earlier persisted after the hand, with Hellmuth suggesting Johnson was trying to go broke. Johnson responded by pointing to his newly acquired chips, saying "does it look like I went broke?"

Shakerchi bet 105,000 on 8♣2♦10♥ after Arieh checked and was called by Ashton, with Arieh folding.

The turn brought the Q♦ and this time Shakerchi bet 220,000, which Ashton once again called.

Shakerchi put out a hefty 435,000 chip bet on the 5♥ river and after some deliberation, Ashton raised to 1,050,000, which Shakerchi snap-folded to.

Phil Hellmuth raised it up to 45,000 in the hijack and was then three-bet by Phil Ivey in the cutoff, who made it 160,000 to go. It folded back to Hellmuth and he reluctantly gave up.

A few hands later, Johannes Becker defended his big blind against a button raise by Kristopher Tong and checked the J♦7♣3♠ flop. Tong bet 50,000 for Becker to check-raise to 150,000 and the call by Tong followed.

They checked down the 5♠ turn and 4♥ river as Becker announced a trey. Tong had that beat with the 10♣10♦ to chip up.

Eventful Pair of Hands for Coleman

Maxx Coleman raised to 40,000 in the cutoff and got called by Matthew Ashton in the big blind.

On the 7♥9♣6♠ flop, Ashton check-called a 60,000 chip bet from Coleman to see the 8♥ turn, bringing four to a straight on board.

Ashton now led for 70,000 and got a call from Coleman.

The river bricked out with the 2♣ and Ashton bet 120,000. Coleman then raised to 675,000, leaving just 25,000 behind.

Ashton snap-called and each showed their straight, with Coleman holding 10♦8♦ and Ashton with 10♣6♦.

On the following hand, Coleman raised to 40,000 from the hijack and got three-bet to 125,000 by Talal Shakerchi in the cutoff.

Coleman then moved all in for 880,000, which, after a bit of thought, got a fold from Shakerchi.

Johnson led out for 60,000 following the 7♥9♥5♠ flop. Rast, after lengthy consideration, raised to 160,000, getting a quick fold from Ivey. Johnson thought for some time but did end up tossing his hand away to send the pot to Rast and leave himself in the danger zone.
