Black Doubles with Flush
Niveau 17
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
With 70,000 in the middle on the flop of J♦6♦5♠, Andy Black moved all in for 127,000 from middle position. The button folded and the small blind went into the tank. Eventually they opted to make the call.
Andy Black: A♦K♦
Small Blind: 4♦3♦
Black was ahead with ace-high and the nut flush draw, while the small blind had a useless flush draw, but did have an open-ender.
The 2♦ on the turn gave the Irishman the nut flush and the small blind could only hit the 5♦ to take the pot. The Q♠ on the river confirmed a big double up for Black.
